Okkalı Kahve App
The consumer app for Okkalı Kahve's IoT machines. I'm its primary developer, from the first screens to releases on both stores.

First launch
Welcome, paying by QR code, the drinks, Okkalira and a quick start, each with the app's own character.

There's even a game.
One tap
Tap to flap and slip between the pillars.
Unlock characters
Beat your record and a new character joins the team.
Level up
Score higher and the sky turns from blue to sunset.
Competitive
A monthly leaderboard. Every month the race to the top starts over.

One design language across payments, the wallet, cards, stats, the profile and even a game.
The problem
People standing at a machine want their drink, not a checkout flow. Paying had to take a few taps, work on any phone, and stay safe even on a weak connection in a busy office or factory.
Scan the code on the machine and pay from the app; the machine starts brewing once the payment is confirmed.
An in-app balance topped up by card through a payment provider, with a full spending history.
Points earned with every top-up and spent on drinks, explained in the app with its own character.
Pair a physical card to the account and pay by tapping it on the machine.
Personal statistics: favourite drinks, monthly habits and history.
Announcements, campaigns and push notifications managed from the admin side.
05
01
Traffic between the app and the server is protected by extra security measures.
02
Idempotent payment calls, so a retry on a bad connection never charges twice.
03
EAS builds and over-the-air update channels for both platforms.
04
Native features are checked for availability first, so older builds keep working after an update.
05
API contracts and specifications written for the backend and admin-panel developers.
Live on the App Store and Google Play, used at Okkalı Kahve machines to pay, top up and collect points.
