Personal NFC cards
One card for every person.
Each member of staff has their own card. Tap it on the tablet and the tool knows who is working, so every job is traceable.

Settings
Three themes for three kinds of light.
Light for the office, Normal for the factory floor, Dark for the field at night.

Three big buttons
What used to take a laptop and a checklist.
Setup
Prepares a new machine screen and installs the machine app in one step.
Update the app
Pushes the newest machine app to one machine screen or to every connected one.
Lock
Locks the machine screen into kiosk mode so it only ever shows the machine app.

The problem
Every machine needs its boards programmed and its screen set up and locked down. Doing that by hand with separate tools was slow, error-prone and needed a laptop on site.
What I built
Board programming
One-click firmware flashing for the machine's boards.
Machine screen setup
Installs and updates the app on the machine screen and applies kiosk mode in one step.
ESP32-S3 programmer
A programmer built on the ESP32-S3, with firmware I wrote, so no separate station is needed in the field.
Runs on a tablet
The Python server was ported to Android through Chaquopy, with a Kotlin ADB client, so no laptop is needed in the field.

Under the hood
01
Updates arrive remotely from the company server.
02
I made one of the field setup steps noticeably faster.
03
Staff sign in with their own personal cards.
04
The same tool ships as a desktop app and an Android app.
Used every day by production and field teams to set up machines, with new versions reaching every device remotely.
